The Business Insider has pointed out some fraudulent activity on the part of several Congresscritters. (My apologies to any small animals who are offended by my comparing them to members of what should be an august body of legislators.) Now, I’m willing to bet that this isn’t something that is actionable in court, but it is nowhere near honest. I guess I can’t say I’m surprised.
Let’s be honest here. No one really expects honesty from politicians anymore unless you voted for the other party. Both sides lie. Both sides get caught. When it’s the party you voted for you laugh it off. When it’s the party you voted against the person who told the lie is the worst excuse for a human being in the history of ever. This is something that should be evident to every member of my audience that is honest with themselves. It’s just how it works.
